WhoWhatWear for Target

As a "blogger" (and just all-around critical person), I find myself very hard to impress when it comes to fashion and personal style sites. I am not easily inspired or fashionably-motivated. Oh I'm sorry, did your ensemble of basicness dripping in designer labels cost you more than my rent? Yeah, I don't care, that is not "style". I am also as a harsh a critic when it comes to my own content, if that makes it any more justified. Needless to say, I don't find many "famous" blogs that I connect with, or even like for that matter. But WhoWhatWear has remained on my radar throughout these years, creating an inspiring space and turning that into a brand and business model envied by fashion girls far and wide. So when I heard about their collection launching at Target, I knew this would probably be the only blogger collection to ever make it into my closet. The pieces come in a wide range of sizes and styles, and are the perfect price point for the Target shopper and fashion-obsessed (I'm throwing side eyes at you, failed Neiman Marcus collection). Usually with launches like this, I have a very easy time finding a standout piece, and I honestly think I stood in the store for 15+ minutes trying to make up my mind over 5 different looks. The items are all very on-trend, without being "trendy", and so effortlessly cohesive. I decided on the matching polka-dot ensemble as I always need more mostly-white styles, and threw in the neck scarf as a last minute whim. I know all the cool girls are doing it, but I'm never totally sure if I am one of them. I paired the look with some deep navy booties, and my trustee leather bomber which helps not only break up an all-over pattern, but makes the scarf seem less focal and more like an after thought.

The best part is, this collection will roll out new pieces over the upcoming months! I can't wait to see what else is in the works, sorry bank account.

Also, attention lipstick lovers! The shade I'm wearing here is Teddy Bear from Lime Crime, and I absolutely love it. I'd heard good things about the brand and liked the price point enough to give it a try. The formula is a very light gloss that dries matte, and lasted all evening without any bleeding (and no lip liner needed).
